Essential oils are nature’s own essences, extracted from the leaves, flowers, roots, pulp or bark of plants. Essential oils have a distinctive fragrance which can act directly on the brain to produce a sense of calm and relaxation. As the life blood of the plant, they have a therapeutic effect on the body. Applied to the body, mixed in a carrier oil, they have a beneficial effect on skin, muscles, and other soft tissue to promote pain relief and healing.
When massaged onto the skin, they enter the blood stream and can bring healing properties to the body through the blood stream. Essential oils are medicinal and can have analgesic, anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and antiseptic properties. As such, oils will be chosen in consultation with each individual client.

Aromatherapy Full Body Massage (with Facial Cupping)
Aromatherapy is the systemic use of plant essential oils to improve physical and emotional well-being. Essential oils possess distinctive therapeutic properties which can be used to improve health, reduce physical and emotional stress, and prevent disease. Blended with a carrier oil for massage, these oils are readily absorbed into skin and to the blood stream where they are carried around the body. Aromatherapy Massage is one of the safest, most effective methods of absorbing essential oils into the body. This treatment includes a bespoke blend of essential oils specific to each client.
The full body massage is completed by facial cupping, a gentle therapy which relaxes and soothes the nervous system. Facial cupping is very effective in the treatment of sinus conditions and lymphatic drainage, headaches, and migraine, TMJ disorders, smooths lines and wrinkles, decongests the skin. An aromatherapy blend of Lavender and Rose is applied to the face to enhance the therapeutic effect.
